About

The name Daddy Longleg comes from a spider (Daddy long leg) with very long legs. The whole idea with Daddy Longlegs Productions is to have the same function as the spiders legs connected to the body. Daddy Longlegs Productions wants to connect music from all genres to one label, with quality as the only thing combining them. This is a label for music lovers. The main goal is not to release just one type of music, one hit wonders or top chart music, but to produce music for those who truly appreciates diversity in music.

So far five albums have been released by Daddy Longlegs Productions but the spider web is always out to catch new interesting artists and bands. There are a couple of new exciting releases to be followed very soon.

Siw Burman, Ole Hjorth och Olle Berggren tar oss med på en sinnlig resa rakt in i hjärtat av Västerbotten. Melodierna är i sig berättelser av de människor som levat, spelat och älskat dessa melodier.

Eric's Bluesband

"From Town to Town" is the third album by Eric's Bluesband from Stockholm, Sweden.

It features guest appearances by Mats Ronander (harmonica) on ”Girl, Please Don’t Cry”, Stevie Klasson (guitar) on ”Taxi Take Me Down The Road” and Per ”Ruskträsk” Johansson (sax) on the title track ”From Town To Town”

Featuring ten original songs by Eric Hansson.

Allen Finney and EBB

Steeped in the roots traditions of American folk, rock, country, blues, and jazz, Allen Finney emerges with unique expressions in his own musical style. His previous CD Laying My Monkey Down, with Fat City Blues, was the first to feature only his original songs.

Now he returns with an all-acoustic set, Allen Finney and EBB, showcasing his more recent material. Eric's Bluesband accompanies him unplugged with a fresh, immediate sound.

Music of Glass: one part singer songwriter, one part band. Music of Glass from Sweden combines the band and singer/songwriter categories and make it a simple yet original combo. I compare almost all the Music of Glass songs to taking an 80's am catchy radio hit and symplifying it to it's bare essentials and you there you have a catchy, moody, beautiful little Music of Glass number. Simple, smooth and delightfully good, a Glass that is always on the half full side.
